My name is Phil Ivey and I play online poker exclusively at Full
Tilt Poker.
To learn more about my poker career, please keep reading...
I grew up in New Jersey, where I started my pro poker career in
Atlantic City.
I won my first WSOP title at the age of 23 when I beat Phil Helmuth
and Amarillo Slim in the Pot-Limit Omaha event. Two years later
in 2002, I won three more WSOP titles. I've won two Bellagio tournaments,
one WPO, two Commerce tournaments, and have made my share of WPT
final tables.
2005 was a good year, with two more WPT final tables, a second
place finish in the WSOP Circuit Event at Harrah's Lake Tahoe, and
the addition of my fifth WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha
tournament. Most recently, I won $1 Million for my first-place finish
at the Monte Carlo Millions tournament, and an additional $600,000
for my first-place finish at "The FullTiltPoker.Net Invitational
Live from Monte Carlo."
In January 2006, I received three incredible honors, being named
Player of the Year by All In Magazine, Bluff Magazine, and the UK
Gaming Awards.
I married my high school sweetheart and we currently live in Las
Vegas, Nevada. |
