My name is Clonie Gowen and I play online poker exclusively at
Full
Tilt Poker.
If you want to learn more about my poker career, keep reading...
I started playing poker while living in Dallas and driving to Shreveport,
Louisiana on the weekends. I earned national recognition when I
followed up my Top 10 finish at the WPT Costa Rica Classic with
a win at the World Poker Tour Ladies' Night event in 2003, then
the highest rated WPT show ever broadcast.
I made two more television appearances in 2005, placing seventh
in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold 'em Ultimate Poker Challenge tournament
and third in the FullTiltPoker.Net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
I have served as a guest commentator for the Ultimate Poker Challenge
and the European World Poker Championship in Dublin.
I am a regular columnist for All In magazine and am on the Board
of Directors for the United States Poker Association, a non-profit
association with a strong influence in the world of poker.
I frequently host tournaments and charity events and am now a partner
in a poker school, teaching women (and men) the basics of tournament
play and how to be successful in a competitive game where your own
money is at stake. |
